Dan and Carol in the Philippines

Welcome - Mabuhay! This blog is a diary of observations, triumphs, trials and tribulations from the Philippines. Being a Canadian/Filipino couple living in the Philippines can be interesting. We came up with the name by combining Pinay (female Filipino) and Canuck (Canadian). We found pinuck (http://pinuck.blogspot.com/) was available and appropriate for us.
We're going to post photos, notes, musings and other interesting things that all of our friends and family can access online.
Best wishes!
Carol & Dan

Hi just thought would drop u a line..i am a Filipino currently employed as a brewer in your country(Canada)...and also wants to make home brewing a hobby and who knows what's next...i do agree that lots of issues may arise in terms of home brewing in the Philippines..but I accidentally came with an idea of how to do at least minimize the expenses in terms of equipment that may at least last long...though bit ambitious not if you would really want to make it more than a hobby in due time...through experience working in a microbrewery(which I think is close to home brewing)..as I was searching for sites and stores that could have possible supplies of malts and hops in the Philippines I am so fortunate to found this group...mostly wines are the more dominant brewed beverage in the Philippines and so few or actually have never heard yet of beer brewers...I hope that we can share something about it..someday...best wishes as well!
